Nothing is as important as going home at the end of the day. There is no project worth working unsafely for and certainly no project worth loosing a life for. Our work is important and your project is important but our families are much more so.
To this end Corinthian has a working Safety Plan that is reviewed by an outside safety consultant on a regular basis. While training doe not prevent occurrences it certainly minimizes the probability and severity of factory and jobsite accidents.
Suspended and Supported Scaffold
An important part of our safety program is the Suspended and Supported Scaffold training that all field personnel go through. NYC department of Buildings has very stringent laws that apply to all those who use either suspended scaffold or supported scaffold. IF you allow persons on YOUR scaffold with out the proper certifications YOU are at risk for fines and disciplinary action as well as that person. INSIST on safety certifications. (please read this bulletin form DOB)
While these regulations may not be as stringent in your part of the country, you can be assured that because we comply with NYC laws, our technicians are trained, knowledgeable and safe.
Please review the attached links. NYC BOD scaffold regulations as well as our Pre job check list for projects requiring suspended scaffold use. This form must be filled out and returned to Corinthian by 12:00 noon the day before we are scheduled to at your site. If the form is not on file in our office the technicians will not be dispatched
